Mission Statement
The NTWWA was established with the objectives
of:
-
The advancement of knowledge in the design, construction,
operation, and management of water works, wastewater treatment and disposal works, and solid
waste site works;
- The encouragement amongst its members of a friendly exchange
of information and experience in an effort to continuously improve the provision of water and
sanitation services provided to the public; and
- The improvement of the professional status of all personnel
engaged in any aspect of the provision of water and sanitation services to the public.
Western Canada Water (WCW) and the
Canada Wide Strategy for Municipal Wastewater Effluent (CWS for MWWE)
The NTWWA is a member of Western Canada Water (WCW) which supports and advances the role of members in protecting the environment and public health in Western Canada through water and wastewater education. This is done through the exchange of knowledge in a variety of ways about water and wastewater developments in Western Canada.
