"Water Ways: Lifeline of the North"

In spite of initial problems with accommodations, the 2009 conference was a success. Thanks again to the Nunavut Water Board and the Municipal Training Organization for changing their workshop dates to free up beds for NTWWA delegates. Just under 70 people attended and nearly all who filled out evaluation forms said the conference had met their goals and been useful to them. For the first time, one of the presenters was an instructor. Kurt Stogrin from NAIT's presentation was a big hit with everyone. Thanks Kurt! There was another Operators Panel this year, and again, this was well appreciated.
A consensus decision was made at the AGM that the next conference should be in Yellowknife, NT, so we hope you will join the NTWWA crowd there! The venue will be the Explorer Hotel for all events and the dates are November 19 to 22, 2010.
