2007 Conference: "Camps & Communities - Managing our Waters" - November 2 - 5, 2007 in Iqaluit, NU
	Thanks to the City of Iqaluit, the friendly helpful people of Nunavut's capital and the NTWWA board, the 2007 conference and related activities were a great success. Nearly 100 people attended and 70% of them filled out the evaluation form. Everyone thought the conference content and resources were appropriate, interesting and useful. The Operators Workshop, which followed the two-day conference, was also well attended and appreciated by the participants (thanks again to Ken Johnson for doing a great job organizing the workshop!). Eleven communities participated in the Great Northern Drinking Water Challenge and the trophy for best all-round drinking water was taken home by Norman Wells. A silent auction was held in conjunction with the Saturday night banquet to raise funds for Water for People, a charity that promotes health through water projects in developing countries. Thanks again to the businesses of Iqaluit and the City of Iqaluit's employees, whose support and hard work resulted in $4000 raised for this very worthwhile organization. The Saturday night banquet also featured keynote speaker Nobel prize nominee, Sheila Watt-Cloutier, who spoke about the effects of climate change on the Arctic.

	"Northern Challenges, Northern Solutions", the 2006 conference, trade show, AGM and operators workshop took place at the Explorer Hotel in Yellowknife November 24 to 27, 2006.
