    2011 Conference:

    "Our Water, Our Land, Our Life"

  November 18 to 22, 2011  

     

The 2011 conference was attended by 90 delegates, including 6 tradeshow booths. 

The first-ever two-day workshop was attended by nearly 40 people,  23 of

whom were operators. The non-operators audited the workshop.

 

At the AGM following the conference, Sudhir Kumar Jha, who had served as VP, 

President and Past President was thanked for his contributions to the board. Aaron

Randall, who could not attend,  was also thanked for his service to the board.

Two new board members were elected.  Welcome to Jonah Koonark, from Pond Inlet, and Kevin Hodgins, from Yellowknife.  Billy Qaqasiq and Gary Maksagak, whose terms had expired, were re-elected as directors.

The membership voted to have the 2012 conference in Yellowknife, preferably in last half of November, so watch this site for more info later as to the exact dates.

 

2010 Conference:  "Empowering Northern Water Professionals"

November 19 to 22, 2010 at the Explorer Hotel, Yellowknife, NT

    This was NTWWA's biggest conference ever, with 125 delegates and trade show   representatives attending.
